David Spangenburg is a Freelance Wordsmith currently working in both the print world and cyberspace. His short fiction, essays, articles, blogs and OpEds can be found in various magazines, newspapers and on numerous websites. He is the master of three domains;

A talented Playwright; he penned the Book and Lyrics to the cult classic musical comedy, "Carhops, Lost in Time" and the hilarious two act stage play “Pirates of the Airwaves!” which featured, legendary character actor and friend, Victor Wong ( “Last Emperor”,
“Big Trouble in Little China”, “Golden Child”, "Prince of Darkness", "Joy Luck Club").
He wrote, produced and directed; "caught between heaven & hell and no tomorrow", "Tapestry" and “Stream of Being"-a series of critically acclaimed Multi-Medium Performance Theatre Productions staged throughout Northern California which established him as a major contributor in the area’s arts community.
At home on the stage as well as behind his keyboard, his series of Performance Art Readings, “Twisted Tales”, received many rave reviews and developed a enthusiastic following. He also wrote and voiced the narrative for a cable documentary on the life of “Supreme Court Justice, Anthony Kennedy”.
Just recently he collaborated with Michael Goldman ( 'The Fence Doctor' ) to create
"...the definitive resource on Vinyl Fencing...." the best selling eBook, the
"Vinyl Fence Buyers Guide". It is available at the Vinyl Fence Buyers Guide site.
A talented amateur digital photographer, he also hosts a online Gallery to display his work
which consist of wildlife and scenic shots and his digitally "painted" Digi-Art-Shots.
You can find it at the Digital Images Gallery.com. It is currently under construction.
In the future he plans to encourage other amateur photogs and digital artists to display their pieces. He hopes to schedule Visiting Artist Shows in the Exhibition Wing on the site and provide links to their websites. Hopefully establishing the D.I.G. as a central hub of support and encouragement to a web of budding digital visual artists online.
